Bulb & Capillary Thermostats

Bulb & Capillary Thermostats

A thermostatic device that uses a capillary tube with a bulb on one end, a diaphragm switch on the other, and a liquid capable of expanding and contracting at the needed rate to activate the switch.  They are used to regulate temperature remotely, such as from outside of a walk-in freezer or refrigeration unit.  They vary by temperature range, voltage, amperage, and by the type of capillary tube, its length, and other variables.
